Current Activities
PHDI works to promote HIV/AIDS awareness through information dissemination coupled with community outreach activities in our areas of operation. By organizing workshops and regular home visits, we are now able to distribute condoms to hundreds of young men at their weekly practices, and provide continuous messages regarding HIV/AIDS prevention. 
 We promote agriculture through training in modern farming practices, distribution of high quality mushroom seeds, poultry farming.
 We provide school scholarships for motivated children. Most of the existing scholarships have been obtained through direct negotiation with schools to “donate” the scholarships. 
We train the village women to use their traditional craft-making skills to produce products which they can sell and earn a living.
We provide a central forum for social, intellectual and Cultural exchange in of ideas in human development..
PHID works to fight for the freedom of the marginalized individuals and to tap individual talents and abilities for the benefit of our society as whole.
We  sensitive the general public  about the Environmental conservation with particular reference to maintain and increasing Agro forest cover and top fight all forms of environment degradation at all levels.
To promote international and global understanding goodwill and community spirit through bilateral and cultural exchange programmes through organized case – study tours, Visit and acquisition of appropriate technologies.
We fight to eliminate all forms of discrimination based on gender, and in particular to promote all activities that are intended to uplift the economic and social status of WOMEN and to integrate women in all family projects as active participants with equal access to problem identification, decision making, project planning and management.
We foster gainful co-operation with other associations through partnership
 We educate and sensitize members of the association and the general public on the needs and rights of the child through working with the government children and other non government organizations.
PHDI gives special attention to vulnerable children like orphans living alone, sick children and children whose careers are suffering from terminal illness.
