What we do
PHDI acts as a catalyst for motivating village (rural) people to organize themselves and undertake development work on self-help basis.

To encourage mutual cooperation and solidarity among peoples for peace, justice and development
To initiate and encourage training programs in various fields to impart needful skills, to enable families engage in productive economic activities.
To encourage and support viable self-help initiatives of families and groups though which orphans and marginalized individuals can be assisted to improve their capacity for self – reliance through improved agricultural production and environment conservation.
To develop skills among the marginalized, especially youth and enable them improve agriculture production or other forms of income generation as a sure way of improving people’s welfare and strengthening family ties.
